My mom and dad went to the second hand shop and found me tons of new cameras! I was gobsmacked when they told me, I have 16 new cameras in total! AM-A-ZING.
So I reckoned it was time to take a new picture of my camera collection, an update as it were. Ah and do note, I’ve only shot the ones that aren’t in this one.

also bought, 3 filters, ilford multigrade filters and a develop tank for 2 filmrolls.

a better picture of one of the filters

this is a picture I took with my digital camera with the filter mentioned above, cool effect I reckon. The colours were edited in photoshop.

and some cool books for 50cent a piece, cheap as hell.
*siked*
it’s been a while, but I’ve been very busy, spending most of my time with my boyfriend in Leuven and when I’m back at home I don’t feel like posting anything or doing anything useful really. It’s bad, I know, but the good weather and sunshine has lifted me up a bit.
Here are some pictures I took this past week, at De Sterre in Hulst (NL) and some I took in Leuven.

Managed to find a cool bag, a black eastpak one with wheels.

it’s similar to this, mine’s a bit larger and longer.
I’ve also bought tons of new necklaces, really cute ones. and very cheap, at Sfera and H&M.
desperately in need of a better picture but this’ll have to do for now.
In a few days time I’ll update my website and put all the ones I took from Dries up online so be sure to keep your eyes open. Cheers
I’m back from a week in Leuven, had an amazing time. Didn’t take any pictures so I haven’t got any to show you. I did process one we took last Saturday.

Tomorrow I’m going to Antwerp with my mom, Eve and Tommy. I’m going to look for one of those suitcases with wheels, that’ll make my visits to Dries a bit more comfortable.
This weekend my boyfriend Dries is here and today being Valentine’s Day we went for a stroll in the woods of De Klinge and I brought my tripod and camera along.

Here’s a drawing I made as a Valentine’s Day present for him.

This was his gift, all wrapped up! The present on top was a scarf I bought at H&M, haven’t got a picture of that yet.

He got me a “BONGO, Lazy Sunday daytrip for 2″ so when the weather’s a bit more pleasant we’re going to the sea!
see you next week! I’m off to Leuven!
Went to the shoppingmall with my mom today, I got a Valentines Day present for my boyfriend (I’m not telling what it is because he’ll probably read this
) and a new mobile! I was in desperate need for one, and I found the most beautiful thing ever. I’m totally in love with it.

It’s so cute and girly, not to mention pink haha.
It’s a Nokia 7100 Supernova, it wasn’t very expensive and it hasn’t got a lot of fancy options but as long as I can text and call I’m happy. And it’s got a pretty decent camera as well so… I simply loved the look of it.
3 more days to go and Dries will be here, I can’t wait. Sunday we (Dries, me and my mom) are visiting my grandma and Arno, it’s his birthday on Sunday, he’s turning 17. Sam, Ellen, Cindy and Valentijn will be there as well, and (obviously) I’m bringing my camera along, and lots of filmrolls. I hope I’ll get the chance to snap some pictures but that’ll be no problem I think/hope. AND on sunday evening I’m going back with Dries to Leuven, I’m spending the week at his flat. There’s a good chance I’ll be seeing An-Sofie as well that week so I’ve got lots of fun stuff to look forward to. Life is treating me very well, very well indeed.
I’ll keep you posted on any progress with the pictures.
Cheers. E
Spent the day in the darkroom today, made a whole bunch of prints of the filmroll I shot of my boyfriend Dries. I’ve scanned a few of the ones I liked best…

I can’t believe my luck the past few weeks, it’s ridiculous, if I don’t be careful I might even start getting used to it, haha! Anyway a friend of my mom gave me a few things she was about to chuck. It’s really cool stuff, will be very useful in the darkroom.

On the bottom left, a Minolta FS-35 camera, above are 2 Ilford colour retouching kits and a bunch of pencils, below that are 10 retouching markers for white spots on photographs and next to that a “thing” to give your photos a zigzag kind of edge, it’s really oldskool, but I’ll definitely make some good use of it.
Here is a close-up of what the edge looks like:
very retro!

AND also, on saturday I shot a black and white roll on my Canon FTb of Eve and Tommy and also a few digital ones. Tommy, Eve’s husband is very photogenic, for me as a photographer it’s always great to come across someone that’s a natural model.
these are the two digital ones:
Eve and my mom.
Eve and Tommy.
and these are negative scans I developed today, I’ll be making some prints of these as well, the scan quality isn’t that great, but it gives you an idea.

A few days ago I did another drawing, this time more “creative” compared to the bird I did for my mom (scroll down to see what I’m talking about).
Techniques used are chinese ink and aquarel.
The reference is a photo I took which you can find on my website under “2007, other.”
